The aim of writing this book is to make accessible to B. Pharm students, a qualitative book about “Biostatistics and Research Methodology. The subject deals with descriptive statistics, graphics, correlation, regression, Logistic regression probability theory, sampling technique, parametric tests, non-Parametric tests, ANOVA, introduction to design and analysis of experiments, factorial design and response surface methodology, phases of clinical Trials and observational and experimental studies, SPSS, R and MINITAB statistical Software’s, analyzing the statistical data using excel. This book has been structured in 5 Units as per the new syllabus of B. Pharmacy suggested by the Pharmacy Council of India. The objective of writing this book is that the students shall be able to know the operation of M.S. Excel, SPSS, MINITAB, R, DOE (Design Experiment), factorial design and response surface methodology and to know the various statistical techniques to solve statistical problems. We hope students will appreciate the contents of this book for adequate knowledge of the subject and achieve excellent score in exams.
